— My Story

The island

that made me

No private academy, no inherited network. What I had was discipline, imagination, and one quiet field on a Baltic island. That foundation has taken me to Team Estonia and tournaments across Europe — with the right people supporting every step.

The island

Saaremaa is an island shaped by the Baltic Sea, Viking heritage, and generations defined by independence, resilience, and strong character.

There is something about growing up on an island like this — you learn to adapt, to rely on yourself, and to keep going when conditions are not easy. The determination to figure things out for myself became part of the way I learned the game — and part of the player I am today.

The Persistence

From Saaremaa to Tallinn, Team Estonia and now professional golf — each step has raised the level. The approach stays constant — discipline, persistence and resilience to adapt and move forward.

For me, discipline is not about doing more for the sake of it. It is about showing up with purpose and getting a little better each time.

“You must play boldly to win.”

— My Values and Mission

More than

a golf career

My mission is to become the best golfer I can be, compete at the highest level and build a career that stands for more than results.

I want to represent Estonia with pride, inspire others to aim higher regardless of where they start, and create lasting value for the people and partners who share the journey.

Play with heart.

I want passion and courage to show in the way I compete.

Work with purpose.

Every practice, decision and tournament should move me forward.

Stay grounded.

Success should never change the way I treat people or the respect I have for the game.

Keep learning.

Curiosity, discipline, persistence and resilience are part of progress.

Value people.

No journey is built alone. The people around me matter as much as the milestones along the way.

— Achievements

The numbers speak clearly.

Ralf Kivi holding a trophy

I believe good decisions start with knowing the truth about my game. I track the numbers, study the patterns and use them to understand where I’m strong and where the next gains can come from.

My current averages already compare well with PGA TOUR benchmarks in several areas:

75%

Greens in Regulation

(PGA TOUR avg. 65.9%)

300.7 m

Driving distance

 (PGA TOUR avg. 279.3 m / 305.4 yds)

1.80

Putts per GIR

(PGA TOUR avg. 1.76)

57%

Up & down

(PGA TOUR scrambling avg. 59.3%)

30.7

Putts per round

(PGA TOUR avg. 29.0)

The numbers keep me honest about where I am, focused on where I can improve, and clear on the next step forward.

Voices from

the game

From those who have followed the journey closely.

Ralf is one of the most unique people I’ve ever met. He possesses one of the rarest combinations in sports: elite talent matched only by a drive to improve.

I’ve had the privilege of playing with some of the greatest players of all time and I would put Ralf’s skill for striking the golf ball up against any of them.

His intelligence on and off the golf course never ceases to amaze me and if a few putts drop, there isn’t a doubt in my mind that Ralf will be a golfing force in Europe and beyond for many years to come.

Will Wears

A close friend and an advisor · United States of America

Ralf is a determined, hard-working, and highly motivated golfer. With a strong technical and analytical mindset, he is constantly looking for ways to improve his golf technique and works consistently towards his goals, basing his decisions on data rather than emotion.

Already as captain of the Estonian U18 National Team, he demonstrated strong leadership qualities, leading by example and inspiring both his teammates and fellow golfers through his determination, commitment, and personal example.

Ralf e is undoubtedly one of Estonia’s most promising young golfers. Hard-working and determined, he has every opportunity to achieve his goals through consistent effort and dedication.

Golf has given me the chance to learn from experienced players and coaches, and I value the opportunity to share some of that experience in return.

As an EKR Level 3 certified coach, I offer selected coaching sessions, golf clinics and practice rounds during the off-season — a chance to work on your game, exchange ideas and see how I approach preparation on the course.

These experiences are available in Estonia and abroad, and can also be tailored for partners, companies and groups.

—FAQ

Questions

answered

I started when I was 11. Golf came into my life through my mom’s work with Pärnu Bay Golf Links and Saaremaa Golf Course, and I quickly became curious about the game.

At the beginning, I was mostly self-taught. Later I started working with David Da Silva, and today I work with Bradley Hughes.

Driving distance, ball striking and short game.

Arnold Palmer and Gary Player. Not only because of what they achieved, but because of the way they carried themselves and what they gave back to the game.

For me it means keep progressing, keep learning and don’t get stuck on what has already happened.
